Thank you for your interest in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at the University of Toronto, Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. You have made a good choice! Successful applicants will undertake a new 3-year PharmD curriculum – the first 3-year PharmD program in Canada.

Once you begin our PharmD application, note that the application must be completed in sections. If you click ‘save’ you can amend your entries as needed. Once you click ‘submit’ your information is submitted to our office as entered. You must ‘submit’ each section before you have access to the next section. Before you ‘submit’, check your entries to ensure all information is correct and complete. Sections 1 to 5 (including payment) must be submitted prior to the final application deadline of January 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern (North American) time zone. Supporting documents and test scores (e.g. transcripts, Casper test scores and English facility test scores) can be submitted later, as per the deadlines in the ‘Application Process’ section of our website.

Once you have begun an application for the current cycle you can log back into the system to complete your application and/or to view notices.
Before you begin an application...:

Make sure you are familiar with all details of published requirements. Allowances will not be made for those who fail to comply with published requirements and/or deadlines. You may contact us at adm.phm@utoronto.ca if you require clarification of the published requirements.

For purposes of meeting academic subject requirements, note the restrictions published under ‘Academic Requirements’. In addition, note that the specific subject requirements must be completed at the undergraduate level within 10 years of the year for which application is made, i.e. for admission in fall 2025 the required subjects (which you will list in section 3 of the application) must be successfully completed in fall 2015 or later.

If you have already completed a recognized entry-to-practice Pharmacy degree (e.g. BPharm or BScPhm), do not use this application. Candidates who have already completed a professional Pharmacy degree would normally not need to apply to the ‘PharmD’ program and should, instead, apply for the ‘PharmD for Pharmacists’ program or the ‘International Pharmacy Graduate’ (IPG) program, both of which are bridging programs and have separate application processes.
